Editing the Document Naming Convention

1. Click "Settings"

2. Click "Projects"

3. Click this icon for the project you want to edit the document naming convention.

4. Scroll down to the 'Setup Document Naming Convention' The first step is to set up the project code for documents.

5. Next, assign an Organization Code you want to see for each Organization that uploads Documents.

6. Next, assign a Discipline for each Organization that uploads Documents

7. You can manage the out of the box Disciplines through the settings icon.

8. You can add additional Disciplines not shown in the list via the + icon.

9. Next is the Document Types, Plexa provides out of the box Document Types that you can add to, edit and remove.

10. Next you will see the Document Name.

11. Next you will see the Document Number

12. Then a list of Statuses you can add to and assign a colour code to

13. And lastley, you can dictate a revision type. Either Numbers or Letters or Both.
