Create an Observation

This guide simplifies creating observations, helping users efficiently document and manage information. By following the steps, individuals can improve organisational skills and clarity in tracking observations, making it essential for streamlining observation management and boosting productivity.

Step By Step Guide

  1. Select ‘Site Management’ (Desktop) or ‘Site & Safety’ (Mobile App)

  2. Click "Safety Management" on the Site Menu

  3. Select ‘Observations’ at the top

  4. Click the "+ Create Observations" Icon to create Observations

  5. Enter the conformance status, title, priority, type, location, and description,

  6. Upload an attachment to the Observation Via the "Drag & Drop or Browse" Option

  7. Assign the Observation to An Organisation from the "Assign to" Dropdown

  8. Assign a "Due Date" to the Observation

  9. Select ‘Create’ to complete the Observation and notify the assigned user

Notes/Recommendations

  • If observation types are not shown, create types on desktop by following the same process and selecting the ‘+’ icon above ‘Type’

  • Corrective action required is not a mandatory field in observations, only defects

  • All other users under the same organisation will be able to view and respond to the observation although will not receive notification for updates

  • Initiators of observation can approve and close observations once subcontractors have responded with photo evidence via the following process

Approve & Close Observations

  • Provide a signature and select ‘Save & Approve’

  • Select ‘Approve & Closed’

  • Select the coloured icon displaying the current status of the observation (E.g. fixed, pending etc.)

  • Select the observation listing you wish to approve and close
